Activities included the following: Collect status of current requirements and budget; Determine costs/time to meet requirements; develop plan for successful execution; train replacement project manager; monitor and track progress; provide course correction; deliver solution that meets system’s owners needs.• Project Manager for the International Distributed Imaging System (IDIS) which was a data capture and transmission system to capture fingerprints, images, and textual data and transmit them by electronic mail between agencies such as State Identification Bureaus, IAFIS/FBI, other federal agencies, and Interpol Offices around the world. As Project Manager, performed a variety of technical, management, and marketing functions. Worked with a variety of individuals to develop the Concept of Operations and requirements, designed and integrated the proof-of-concept system, defined requirements for pilot and full-function systems, and developed image capture software. Developed image processing algorithms that would permit compliance with the FBI’s Image Quality Specifications (IQS), deployed the system, and conducted training at various domestic and international customer sites.
