Started a brown field site responsible for the final assembly manufacturing of eight (8) unique variants of the 6th Generation Ford Explorer and the 2nd Generation Lincoln Aviator, including two FHEV Explorers (Police & Retail), EU PHEV Explorer and PHEV Lincoln Aviator. Established and managed a 3-crew operation, operating 7-days a week. Highered and trained a completely new work-force, including UAW hourly operators & maintenance, salary front-line supervision and mid-level supervision. Established the necessary vehicle process flow to maximize the facilities capacity of 200 vehicles /day and 1,200 vehicles /week. Utilized value stream mapping and waste management techniques to improve jph and quality. Worked with a cross functional Team to systematically re-introduce four of the eight variants back into mass manufacturing at the main assembly plant until the 2025MY vehicle architecture eliminated the need for the additional site. Managed 35+ salary employees and over 900 hourly employees across three shifts.
