Frederick Koch, recognized as an Aviation Security Expert by U.S. Federal Courts, is a graduate of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and Cal State - Dominguez Hills University. Mr. Koch served as Director, Assets Protection, Corporate Security - Continental Airlines, holding a Security Clearance with the Department of Defense (DOD) as a Field Grade Officer Tech 4, Air Force - Lieutenant Colonel.At Continental, Mr. Koch oversaw worldwide investigations, including assessing threats, protecting aircraft, airports, and people. Mr. Koch implemented security contingencies and countermeasures, keeping the airline safe and operational. During this time, Mr. Koch uncovered several aircraft component theft rings, leading to the recovery of over 23 million dollars of surplus from commercial and military aircraft sectors. Performing investigations at the highest corporate level, Mr. Koch understood his actions risked exposing the carrier to unfavorable branding and media coverage, impacting the company financially.On the Air Transport Association (ATA) Security Committee, Mr. Koch worked with U.S. government officials to create software to identify and neutralize threats harmful to the industry’s economy. Realizing U.S. government programs inadequately protected airline revenue, Mr. Koch created his own internal Fraud Department, saving over 10 million dollars annually.Mr. Koch has instructed at the FBI Training Academy, participated in government counterintelligence operations, administered classified security programs and managed government informants.
