I simplified some parts to accomodate a wider range of containers, reducing the number of custom parts required.Selected Accomplishments• Project Engineer for the complete refurbishment of a $6 mil. batch house.• Organized and facilitated the creation on department CAD standards to increase consistency and productivity by 15%• Reduced quantity of custom components required for bottle handling at inspection machines by 60 %.• Significantly reduced time to research project information by creating a database for existing drawings.• Reduced exposure to silica up to 90% at 5 glass plants through regular inspections, reporting of issues and suggested repair of existing equipment. • Reduced the time required to generate detailed layouts of charging system projects 400%, by identifying equipment used in a range of glass furnace capacities and creating standard layouts and simplified blocks of equipment.• Improved various machine components which improved part longevity, reducing costs.• Improved batch house production up to 23% through timing studies.
