I organised the entire storage area to make sure all of our transaction files were in the correct place as well as making sure all of the out of date files were destroyed. After I have visited these places I fill in an online form which I send to Serve Legal which is then used for market research and legal advice. This job has helped me to navigate and understand data protection laws and sensitive corporate information.

Working at Ransoms Tea Rooms and Restaurant (part of Ransoms Garden Centre) was my first ever job. My job description was 'waiter', and for the most part, I was a waiter. However, I often found myself doing lots of odd jobs such as gardening, cleaning driveways and doing heavy lifting, because of this I had an unofficial position as a general assistant. Working for Ransoms over the two year period helped me better understand the hospitality industry.
