About Frederick Redell

I was previously the Managing Director of Abengoa Solar’s US Business. Prior to joining Abengoa Solar I owned an engineering company specializing in energy facility development. I have worked in several roles over my career including operations, engineering, project management, and most recently as the General Manager for the Mojave Solar Project through the construction period. Prior to that I was the engineering manager for Abengoa Solar. I am a graduate of the Naval Nuclear Power Program, served on two submarines and have a Professional Engineer license (Mechanical) in the State of California. My education includes an MSME from the University of California, San Diego, a BSME from the University of Illinois, Chicago, along with executive and management education at Georgetown University.
