- Studies and interprets structural. architectural, mechanical, civil design drawings including scope of work;- Layouts grating structural platform supports such as beams, columns, braces;- Layouts other grating miscellaneous supports such as stair landings and handrails;- Produces grating detail drawings based on customer design drawings using Progecad;- Prints the finished drawings and gives to the Checker;- Reviews mark-ups of Checker if agreed or not;- Scrubs/fixes the drawing per Checker’s markups;- Helps in scrubbing other Detailer’s work if needed;- Fixes and reworks drawings marked up by Client/Customer either per new or revised IFC drawings, revised due to BFA additional comments not shown on original contract documents;- Helps produce PDF drawings needed for RFI/queries assigned by the Checker or Project Manager;- Estimates square footage of grating;- Renders overtime if required to meet job due date’s submittals; and- Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the Lead Project Manager.

- Does Material take-offs of proposed projects for use by estimating- Prepares an Advanced Bill of Material and/or Warehouse and Buyout Lists based on client data sheets or design drawings for material sourcing and/or material procurement for projects that require the use of YSC Engineering Services- Prepares detail and construction drawings and changes thereto in accordance with YSC's drafting standards- Prepare detailed material bills and changes thereto- Identifies the material source on the drawing whenever possible- Revises Contract Documentation affected by Engineering changes when required- Reproduces and issues documents (controlled or otherwise) for information, planning, ap-proval, fabrication and/or construction as applicable- Receives and handles questions relating to drawings and other issued documents for infor-mation, planning, fabrication and/or construction as applicable. Reports to the Drafting Su-pervisor, Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer or Engineering Manager for resolution if necessary- Participates in site surveys to gather information for drafting or bidding purposes- Maintains and updates Contract engineering document issuance information for assigned tasks- Checking the documents received from Engineering and promptly resolve any discrepancies with the Engineering Manager, or his assigned representative- Assume the responsibilities of immediate supervision in his absence and when required

- Initiate 3D Modeling in accordance with the schedule provided by the checker.- Extract Information from the drawings and specification prior to preparation of detailed shop drawings.- Prepares shop drawing, checking dimension of part to another and relation part to whole structure of project. Produce as built drawings.- Make any adjustment or changes if necessary.- Utilizes knowledge of various drawing, equipment, computer, engineering practices, mathe-matics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete the drawing.- Updates and incorporates revisions of drawings.- Clean and maintain computer and printer.- Observes and adheres to all safety, sanitation and good housekeeping, rules and practices.- Clarify technical point with checker.

- Prepares shop and erection drawings.- Reflects all corrections made by the checker.- Prints shop / erection drawings for back checking- Revises shop / erection drawings based on comments and corrections made by the client.- Print final shop / erection drawing for signature of client after corrections have been incorpo-rated and transmit to client for approval.
