Upon receiving his MBA in Finance from Emory University, Frederick began his investment career in 1991 with Balentine & Company. After rising to be a partner there he launched his own RIA company, Wright Investment Management, in 1997. Frederick merged his company into an Atlanta based accounting firm and helped them launch their RIA practice. He served there in various roles, including President and Chief Investment Officer for over 15 years, helping the firm grow to over $500 million in assets under management.Frederick joined Brightworth in 2016 and provided comprehensive wealth and investment advice to high net-worth individuals and families. While a partner there, he helped the firm double in size to over $3.5 billion of assets under management. As a CFA, he is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of education, integrity and professional excellence for client investments. He has served as a member of the Monthly Advisor Confidence Index and a member of the Structured Products Association.Frederick joined NovaPoint Capital in 2019, returning to the boutique firm environment he enjoys most, and also aligning with other like-minded former military officers. At NovaPoint, he uses his two decades of experience serving as a chief investment officer, to personalize the portfolios of his clients. The optimal portfolio mix of stocks, bonds and other investments ebbs and flows as the markets move, presenting at times greater opportunities than others. Frederick learns the personal preferences and goals of clients, and takes those into strong consideration as well.Following his father's military career around the U.S. and Germany, Frederick moved often throughout his childhood. He received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the US Military Academy at West Point, served in the Army and then settled in Atlanta more than 25 years ago. Frederick has two children and attends Passion City church. He enjoys ALTA tennis, golf, reading and writing.
