With over 20 years of experience in education and talent acquisition, I am passionate about recruiting and empowering educators who can make a positive impact on students' lives. As the Manager of Talent Recruitment for Middle Schools at KIPP Nashville Public Schools, I lead the strategy and execution of sourcing, screening, hiring, and retaining high-quality teachers and leaders for our growing network of public charter schools. I leverage my skills in leadership, customer service, and teaching reading to build strong relationships with candidates, school leaders, and community partners, and to ensure a smooth and equitable hiring process. Previously, I worked as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Daymar College, where I supported student recruitment and enrollment for various programs. I also have experience in recruiting healthcare roles at ITAC Solutions, and in admissions at Brightwood College, Argosy University, and ITT Technical Institute. I hold a Master's degree in Education from Tennessee State University, and a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Argosy University. I am also a certified English teacher in Tennessee. I am motivated by KIPP Nashville's mission to provide excellent education and opportunities for underserved students, and I am committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture among our staff and students.
