Employed ArcGIS and demographic data (Census TIGER, Census PL, and American Community Survey) to create maps and reports for attorneys on various cases such as voting rights, disability access, and school zones. Designed pivot tables to analyze demographic data for use in investigations and court trials. Used Excel to create pivot tables based on this data, which would be used to determine what caused changes to the zone boundaries. Divided the points in the shapefile by the type of violation committed, which was given a unique color. This color coding would enable the attorney to quickly determine the number of facilities guilty of a specific violation. Added the points shapefile to a basemap of Kansas City that was printed out as over 40 hard copies maps to be delivered to the attorney.• Technical Writing. Produced weekly summary reports on the status of projects for the GIS Chief for dissemination to a wider audience.
