Coordination of all R&D effort across all branches of Menard. Responsible for coordination of Sustainable Development Actions and Activities for Menard Group Worldwide.In addition to his operational role in engineering at Menard USA, Mr Masse became the director for the global R&D Program worldwide for the Menard Group. His duties mainly involved the development, coordination and management of all R&D initiatives within the Menard Group, defining R&D priorities based on strategic discussions with the Menard Board of Directors as well as the branch managers of each business units within the group. Mr Masse has overseen more than 30 R&D projects in more than 15 countries around the world. During his tenure as R&D Director, Mr Masse developed strong relations with various universities in France ( INSA Toulouse ), USA ( Lehigh University, Virginia Tech University ), Australia ( UT Sydney, Wollongong University), Germany ( TU Claustal ). He has also promoted R&D synergies within the Soletanche Freyssinet group through the collaboration with Soletanche-Bachy, Freyssinet, Terre Armee and Nuvia. Mr Masse was a member of the R&D committee for the Soletanche-Freyssinet group. Menard is an industry leader in the specialized work of wick drain installation. Menard, based in France, is a developer and innovator in the construction of all types ofground improvement, including wick drains, dynamic compaction, dynamic replacement, vibro densification, vibro stone columns, vibro concrete columns, controlled modulus columns, and vacuum consolidation of soils. Menard works internationally and specializes in design-build performance contracts. Frederic has been with Menard USA since its launch in the US, providing a high level of value to the customers, and is improving the economy of building construction with these offerings. Since starting DGI-Menard and launching the use of CMC in North America, over $80 mill in CMC have already been installed representing over 1.5 million linear feet of elements. This rapidly growing technology is leading the growth of Menard at a rapid rate. Menard is affiliated with Freyssinet, a world leader in post-tensioning and bridge construction, and The Reinforced Earth Company, the major designer and supplier of MSE retaining walls. All of these companies are part of the VINCI group, the largest construction and concessions group in the world.Mr. Masse was responsible for engineering for the corporation. He was a leading contributor to Menard’s design-build projects and the application of innovative and emerging geotechnical solutions on the jobs performed by Menard.
