I am a metallurgical engineer with a master's degree in materials engineering, chemical and metallurgical processes from PUC-Rio de Janeiro.I have experience in scientific research analyzing the use of different types of additives for the production of grain-oriented electrical steels at ArcelorMittal Belgium. I've worked as a metallurgist engineer at Nexa Resources with emphasis on the development of industrial projects, to mention: start-up of the Waelz furnace; desalogenation of waelz oxide; maximization of brass use in calcination process for costs reduction and enviromental footprint and development of alluminium reciclyng cycle. I'm currently a process specialist at Suncoke and responsible of process' managing during coke production, steam production in HRSG and enviromental control on FGD. I've lead the development of projects, following: FGD debbotlenecking; upgrade of HRSG boiler tubes; tie-in of common tunnel for the reduction of venting hour during emergency and/or scheduled shutdowns. I'm also in charge of the management of strategic process indicators regarding energy generation and dessulfurization efficiency.My focus is the development of new process' routes; study, implement and improve processes aiming to reduce costs, improve environmental and safety standards and guarantee the quality of the product to the customers.
