It occurred to me that the engineering talent we have in our colleges could use more on-the-job experiences and receive the financial help needed to pay for tuition while businesses would be able to shape the next generation of engineering candidates, improve their readiness, and get quality work done economically in the process. This is the mission of Tethys Engineering. Tethys was the greek goddess protecting the streams of mountain water symbolizing the origin of life. Similarly, our engineering students are the source of life for innovation and competitiveness in our country...Tethys Engineering will play a part at protecting and reinforcing that!!

HOPTEK's mission was to revolutionize the transportation industry using advanced, real-time optimization software. We had achieved breakthrough asset utilization and staff productivity improvements across various complex network assignment problems. The experience added to my previous efforts in promoting corporate innovation, this time launching a nimble tech-based offering within a sizeable traditional consulting firm. The first few years before the official formation of the entity felt like a long, lonely walk in the desert, but once again, stubbornness and passion prevailed.
