Associate within UBS Wealth Management's Private Markets organization. The team oversees the sourcing, structuring and distribution of Private Equity, Private Debt and Private Real Estate products to UBS Wealth Management clients across the High Net Worth (CHF2-50m) and Ultra High Net Worth (CHF50m+) segments.

UBS Graduate Training Program in the Institutional Solutions Group (ISG) within Wealth Management's Global Ultra High Net Worth sub-division. As part of the program I spent time rotating in several teams as follows:Institutional Investments - Distribution team (12-months, Zurich)Distribution of direct investments (Private Equity) and IPOs to institutional clients booked in Wealth Management. Development, maintenance and weekly upkeep of the professional client database. Development of new CRM system. Deal oversight, management and sales support.Institutional Investments - Origination team (2-months, London)Origination and structuring of direct investments for distribution into Wealth Management and to Investment Bank booked institutional clients. Preparation of sales material and support documentation, client e-mails, client form templates, committee approval documentation. Preparation and upkeep of pre-IPO company target list and support material for deal origination.Global Family Office Switzerland (3-months, Zurich)Swiss-based institutional client desk. Payment and investment processing. Daily report and statement management. Client information processing and storage to ensure conformity with internal policies. Sales support for IPO and other ISG products.UHNW & GFO Switzerland (2-months, Geneva)Ultra High Net Worth and institutional client desk. Weekly investment idea preparation. Professional client classification onboarding. Prospect and client profile preparation. Sales support for Geneva based ISG team.

Internship in operational risk within the COO WM sub-division. Tasks included internal control assessments, meeting coordination, support in the development of division wide e-lectures and development of risk culture material.

Supporting consultants with valuations, acquisitions, sales and letting of hotels, serviced accommodation and leisure investments throughout EMEA. Feasibility and market studies. Special projects included a management company search for an Italian trophy asset and management contract benchmarking study for a major hotel group.

Internship in banqueting department. Assignments ranged from preparing banqueting halls, to supervising and running mid scale events.

Summer internship in service at the InterContinental Geneva.
