Partner at Avolta Partners, in charge of #sustainability (#AgTech, #FoodTech, #Energy, #GreenTech, #CleanTech, #SmartCity, New materials…)After graduating from HEC in 1993, I started working at the Inspection Générale of Société Générale, in the IT section. Those first years were for me a great training school, and more particularly for wholesale banking activities. In 1999, I left Paris and moved to Bordeaux, where I held several positions of responsibility in private banking, asset management and investment banking, successively at Indosuez, Lazard and Meeschaert. In 2006, I created my own boutique to provide long-term consulting services to SME and ETI managers and owners. The term ’Tech’ did not yet exist at the time, but already, all my clients' companies stood out from their competitors thanks to their technological assets: software, patents, but also plant breeders' rights, in various sectors such as insurance brokerage, agriculture and automotive (including electric). In 2012, I became an entrepreneur in my turn by creating a Foodtech startup: Yooji, a new entrant in the baby food sector. At the end of 2019, after three rounds of financing, with 35 employees, a couple of patents, a fast-growing online store, sky-rocketing performance in click-and-collect and a robotized factory, but also enriched by my mistakes through all the difficulties I face up to… I then handed over to Danone. I joined Avolta as a Partner in early 2020. I started by naturally focusing on Agtech and Foodtech. Gradually, I broadened my scope to take charge of the sustainability practice. Whether they are producers of new protein sources (insects, micro-algae), new materials, green energy or biostimulants, smart mobility operators or data producers for precision agriculture, all my clients are active players in the energy and environmental transition. They are all concerned with developing more virtuous practices, reducing our GHG and pollutant emissions, and our consumption of planetary resources… Being an investment banker at Avolta allows me bridging the gap between my initial finance background and my entrepreneurial experience by daily meeting dedicated managers and helping them on their projects and negotiations… As Head of sustainability, I can also reconcile my passion for IT and technology with the ecological values and concerns I developed as a parent and as a producer of organic food.
