I do this by performing Ongoing Due Diligence where I perform a holistic investigation of the customer, and investigate the “KYC” of the customer, where the customer acquired the wealth they have, and where their current Source of funds comes from. I also look at all the transactions the customer have done, both foreign and domestic and ensure that the receivers and senders are who they say they are. Therefore, the process is a total holistic look at the whole customer’s financial situation both past and present. So that the bank can live up to the AML directives set forth from the EU, and live up to the FATF recommendations from the “Financial Action Task Force”. Show less
