Developed a new product from start to finish called the Russell "Vibrastop", including research, prototype production, design for volume manufacture and managing compliance including IP66 testing, EMC compliance and CE certification. The Product was marketed as "a revolutionary enhancement for vibratory sieves". It's primary function was to stop a three phase motor almost instantaneously (less than one second), rather than conventionally allowing the motor to stop naturally in typically 20-30 seconds for example. When allowing to stop freely, the sieves would go through significant vibration, movement and stress. By bypassing the sieves resonant frequency, it was possible to avoid this and improve the usability and equipment life of the sieve and connected equipment. Also developed and designed a new sieve with significantly improved sealing and easy to service and clean clamping mechanism.
