About Frédérique Campagne Irwin
Hi. I'm Frédérique. I am proud to serve as the CEO and President of the National Women’s History Museum, an innovative cultural institution and online museum that was established 27 years ago and is dedicated to uncovering, interpreting, and celebrating women’s diverse contributions to society. The National Women’s History Museum believes that the time is now to tell the stories and lift up the voices of underrepresented women, and we take a decentralized approach to that by bringing the stories to communities and cities across the United States as well as providing the largest online women’s history repository that exists so that women, girls, and people everywhere can learn about the tremendous impact that women have made over time. Over the course of my 25+ years in business, women’s equity has always been at the forefront of my work and I am, remain, and will always be, committed to women’s empowerment. I served as Managing Director of Impact Strategy for The Sorenson Impact Center where I managed high-level partnerships with leading organizations in the social impact sector. In this role, I led initiatives around improving equity in higher education and driving systems-level change for equity for women in entrepreneurship. I am also the founder of Her Corner Inc., a social impact company I sold in June 2021, that continues to serve women business owners committed to growth in their businesses.I am a New Zealand Edmund Hillary Fellow, a global fellowship for impact entrepreneurs. And lastly, I have taught entrepreneurship, business management and organizational behavior at the Kogod School of Business at American University. And lastly, I am a dual citizen of the United States and European Union, and I am fluent in English, French, and Spanish and conversant in Russian. As you can see, I am passionate about women’s equity, impact based work, and inspiring and leading others to think collaboratively bigger! Thank you for the visit, and if you would like to find a way to work together to support women’s equity, let’s connect!
