EntrepreneurShanghai Young Bakers Mar 2014 - Jun 2015ShanghaiDevelopment of a "Baker on Wheels" food truck project in Shanghai.In 2014, member of La Ruche, (a network in action of French-speaking women in Shanghai), I participated in the 1st collaborative project: The Business Game La Ruche, working for Shanghai Young Baker.For several years, Shanghai Young Bakers has had a project close to its heart: the creation of a social café. However, due to a lack of time and human resources, this project remains on hold.Yet investors believe in its succès and are willing to invest as long as a business plan holds water.The La Ruche association, which deeply believes in the virtues of collaboration and mutual aid, organized a huge Business Game among its members.The goal is to define a concept of social coffee, its strategy and its business plan. Fourteen members separated into four teams formed by La Ruche were ready to participated. These projects are judged by professionals in the sector (lawyers, social entrepreneurship, etc.).Our project, which won the votes of the members of La Ruche, is a food truck. An original concept: bringing quality French bakery to the potential customer's living and working places.We were three women to carry out this project in collaboration with Shanghai Young Bakers.Our motivation? Create a sustainable source of additional income for the charity. Quickly, we had to confront the winning concept with the legal, logistical, financial and human reality.Our project was also supported by the JCEF who made it one of their commissions: Baker On Wheels. -
