About Fred Hermans

Fred has been an entrepreneur, manager and consultant in the past 38+ years. He started as management consultant with Accenture. During the nineties, he has setup and expanded Magnus (SAP-services) from 5 people to a company of 500 people in US, Europe and Asia, culminating in the IPO of the company in 1998. Became CEO in 2000 and managed the company turnaround/recovery in 2002/2003 to a Microsoft VAR. He rebuilt, partly through M&A, the public-listed company under the name Qurius, a Microsoft Value added Reseller, from 100 people in 2002 to 1000 people in 2009 in 9 european countries. From 2010 to 2018, he has led the global expansion of Every Angle software, a business analytics firm, increased revenue and profitability by a factor 5 and has successfully realised shareholder-value through a sale of the company to Magnitude. After the acquisition by Magnitude, he was globally responsible for all SAP-add on solutions (Every Angle, Innowera, Zoption, Sourceconnect, Process Mining) of Magnitude until the end of 2019. In 2020 and 2021, he applied his experience in M&A as sell-side advisor for Corum Group, a US-based but globally active technology investment banker. Throughout his career, Fred has carried general management responsibility and has extensive experience with both organic / acquisitive growth as well as corporate recovery. Fred currently advises, as board member, coach or investor, B2B software companies to realise their full potential.
