• Developed driver support and UOD middleware software for Broadcom 7038, 7440 Blu-ray SoCs. Tasks included adding software support for hardware-based motion compensation and IDCT acceleration from VGA chip manufacturers including NVIDIA, Intel, S3, Matrox, and ATi. • Provided MPEG2 development, integration and debugging support to OEMs including Dell and Gateway. • Designed VGA graphics test suite for Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) Motion Video certification. Tests are used by WHQL to confirm VGA driver compatibility with DirectDraw standards.• Developed Microsoft DirectX Video Acceleration (DXVA) filter for DirectShow. Driver abstracts MPEG2 video decoding acceleration, allowing the host processor or graphics chip to perform the acceleration.
