Mr Fred Kojo Ellis is an experienced business leader with over 20 years functional and proven Strategic management work experience in the Oil and Gas, Air, Road & Rail Transport, Logistics & Supply chain and Industrial Real estate sectors, in West Africa, Europe and in North America.Fred has a proven track record in developing and implementing corporate operational and business unit strategies, transformations and turn-arounds, advancing profitability though challenging roles, fast-paced execution in emerging economy environments. Fred currently leads the Agility Africa Country team and is responsible for Governmental and Corporate relationships, Commercial and Operations Management. He led the Business development drive and operational roll out to establish proof of concept of the first Logistics and Industrial Park out of 50 to be built in Africa by the Agility Group. In his previous roles Fred led major Regional airline operational and business unit start-ups in Ghana and in West Africa starting with Golden Airways - the first private domestic airline to be set up in Ghana in 1996, to the set-up and management of National and regional ground handling operations for the Fly540 Group and Africa World Airlines respectively. Fred also led the operational start-up and service delivery roll out of the first on-demand airport transfer service between Heathrow and Gatwick airports to and from the City of London powered by the National Express Group.Fred holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Ghana and an MSc in Air Transport Management from City University, London and in addition to the work experience with the multi-national companies and regional champions mentioned above, Fred has also worked with major public corporations and government institutions such as Ghana Airways, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Ministry of Mobilization and Social Welfare and the Ministry of Transport.
