Fred is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Healthcare team. He is a nationally recognized expert in health law with an emphasis in representing providers in the post-acute services health care sector. He maintains an active regulatory trial practice, focusing on Medicare/Medicaid program issues including fraud and abuse, licensing, certification and reimbursement. Fred has participated in an extensive number of administrative trials regarding various licensing and reimbursement cases at the federal level, as well as appearing in various state administrative forums in the Rocky Mountain Region. He also has significant litigation experience in state and federal courts including appearances at the appellate level in the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the Colorado Supreme Court and the Colorado Court of Appeals. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig Fred was a founding partner of Miles & Peters, P.C., a boutique health law firm in Denver.
