In my role as a manager for the platform business team at DOHE KOREA, a global startup acceleration firm, my primary task involved investigating the lifecycle of startups in their early to mid-stages. Additionally, I conducted interviews with multiple startup accelerator platforms.

Product: StartagStartag revolutionized IG marketing indicators through the analysis of raw Instagram hashtag data and the provision of real-time reports. We have successfully registered over 6,000 B2B accounts, including government departments, Samsung, PR firms, and advertising agencies. Startag has significantly boosted the reliability of our secondary product, LikeMe, which was the primary objective. We collaborated with researchers from Yonsei University, providing analytics reports generated from our massive repository of 2 billion rows of raw data.Product: LikeMeLikeMe is a third-party Instagram marketing application boasting 600K users in Korea alone. The product generated a total revenue of $1,801,192 over three years. The Average Revenue Per Paying User (ARPPU) exceeded $200, and the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) stood at $25. We were able to cut down the acquisition cost to roughly $0.22 per install. We explored advertising on various platforms, including Facebook, Google display and search ads, and Instagram. However, Google Ads was chosen due to its superior efficiency. A/B testing, acquisition funnel optimization, and LTV analysis were incorporated into the advertising campaign. The analytics tools employed included Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Datadog, along with our in-house data analytics. B2B partners included cosmetic brands, LG, CJ, KBS, government departments, and marketing agencies.Product: ValiseI was in charge of initiating and managing Valise, collaborating with six in-house members and five remote members situated in France, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Brazil, and Ukraine. Project management was facilitated through tools like Jira, scrum-based methodologies, and communication channels like Slack, Confluence, Notion, and Zoom. We utilized CI/CD with GitHub actions and employed Flutter as the core technology. I also contributed to customizing Webview through the creation of Flutter Native Extensions.

This role involved managing advertisements on commercial platforms.Senior Strategic Planner & Senior Software Developer (April 2012 - November 2014): Worked within a third-party Twitter community, which was the second largest Twitter mash-up service in Korea. Responsibilities included integrating work processes across Development, Design, Marketing, and Operations, as well as planning new products. Additionally, I developed a Desktop Twitter client and mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms, such as a film ticket service and a Twitter mash-up app.Head Manager, Headquarters (November 2014 - July 2016): In this role, I was responsible for strategic planning and building an infrastructure for business and product development. Managed various departments including Marketing, Development, Design, and Board members. Developed a shareable mileage platform that allowed people to earn mileage points and use them as payment at various local shops. Additionally, I negotiated a deal to launch a new debit/credit card integrated with our services in partnership with Daegu Bank and KEB Hana Bank.
