Initiated action on three Lean Six Sigma events aimed at Foreign Object Damage abatement, storage of underutilized equipment, and backlog reduction. Implemented a plan to transfer, overhaul, or repurpose 30 items and placed 243 items in long term storage, allowing for the reutilization of 16,200 man hours.

Participated in a 6 month deployment in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn.As Production Supervisor of 37 personnel responsible for the training and preparedness for integrated maintenance operations in support of a Naval Carrier Air Wing, these efforts led to Carrier Air Wing One completing 1,307 sorties with a 99 percent completion rate.Successfully completed Certification of the Flight deck and Carrier Qualification of the pilots.Increased in rate qualifications by 65 percent.

Managed 48 personnel reducing maintenance backlog from 841 to 349 items and the Time to Reliably Replenish from 403 days to 150 days in two months.Supervised three Logs and Records Clerks in bringing the Support Equipment Periodic Maintenance program back to an On Track Status. Implemented training and a plan for the logs and records clerks to correct over 250 clerical errors in support equipment records, resulting in the zero discrepancies recorded during the following audit conducted by Marine Air Wing One's inspection team.

Member of the a fifteen person audit team conducting over 400 program audits in a nine month period.Mentored six personnel in achieving Quality Assurance inspector Qualifications. Mentored 30 personnel completing over 150 Support Equipment Licenses, enhancing mission readiness by 50 percent within six months. Performed detailed audits on two squadrons assigned to the Marine Air Group One ensuring both squadrons received an honest assessment of their programs and knowledgeable advice on the correction of discrepancies. Developed and implemented a plan to qualify Power Plants Team to perform maintenance normally assigned to other teams, decreasing maintenance time by three days and reducing the work load of other maintenance team in the command.
