I proudly served the city of Chesapeake in the in the profession of Deputy Sheriff with the title of Deputy Specialist with a spotless record & integrity. I possess a rare commodity in the law enforcement community- professionalism & courtesy. I also have provided personal security for judges & other business leaders in the community. I have also provided assistance & protection for victims of domestic violence through the court. I enthusiastically represented the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office by being a senior member of the Honor Guard for 15 years. I am currently employed at the Portsmouth Sheriff's Office since August 2014. I worked in the correctional center, central booking, courthouse/judge security and currently assigned to the Division of Enforcement where I worked traffic enforcement (LIDAR/RADAR) and presently in the Warrant Unit. In the Warrant Unit I have executed many misdemeanor and high risk felony apprehensions, prepared OP Plans/Orders and partnered with other specialized units to effect arrests(US Marshals Service, Portsmouth Police Street Crimes Unit, Homeland Security).
