Fredrick Harper has had a progressive law enforcement career as a Sergeant with the City of Atlanta Police Department. During his service, he has dedicated his time acquiring specialized training to develop competencies that allow him to effectively serve the community. As an instructor, he gained experience with policy review, the development of lesson plans and the facilitation of training through practical exercise and lecture. As a level III S.W.A.T. Operator, Fredrick attained the highest achievable level in S.W.A.T., he developed skills with managing critical incidents, policy development and team building. With these accomplishments, he was able to pivot and create a successful security firm and has reaped other invaluable entrepreneurship exposure. Despite his professional drive, he has remained committed to community service by working alongside non-profit organizations in the community. As the Chief Executive Officer of Defense and Awareness Security, he provides leadership development to staff and partners with Clark Atlanta University to provide internships to upcoming graduates. Fredrick also has a passion for entertainment ranging from song writing to film and has been credited as an actor and producer. As a mentor, he works independently and with organizations comparable to Next Level Boys Academy, that provide diversion and early intervention options for the youth. He sits on the Board of Unity Network and Counseling Center, spearheading the Arts and Entertainment division by providing a creative outlet for aspiring young artists. He is also a Board Member of Kid's Chance of Georgia who sponsors scholarships for children who have lost a parent in a job-related injury.
