GIS:Under supervision from the M&E Director and senior management team of REGAL – IR lead all aspects of the project in relation to GIS mapping. Coordinate Monitoring and Evaluation ActivitiesResponsible for GIS software set-up, management and all data processing. Supervise and/or conduct all field data collection using GPS equipment and Produce demographic maps and other GIS maps on project coverage and activities. Ensure high data quality through adequate data verification and validation. Provide technical assistance to partner organizations on GIS management/mapping. Provide trainings for capacity building for REGAL-IR staff, partners and counterparts at county levels. Participate in different stakeholder coordination meetings and adhere to the standard practices in the field of GIS mapping. Support M&E, Communications and IT units to accomplish sector/technical specific programming achievements involving GIS mapping requirements. Ensure efficient database systems in relation to the GPS and other GIS data management by using appropriate tools. Organize printing of GIS maps of varied specification for project planning and related use at field and project level. Ensure that maps are adequate for planning (at community and county levels), strategic decision making and M&E. Coordinate proactively with other stakeholders and agencies, who use GIS and mapping in theimplementation counties, and ensure regular exchange of data and maps. Support community level engagements to build capacity of communities on participatory M&E using advance technologies.
