Hello, my name is Fredrick Schilling, I'm an audio engineer from Naarm/Melbourne. I've always had a strong love of music, although was never able to master an instrument, I decided instead I would help others to make their own music. I'm highly interested in working in the studio and live sound. I've done some work in both live and studio already, starting in 2021 I worked with Star Music Group & Gallagher Audio and Lighting to assist them in the live auditions for "Sing China" The Chinese version of "The Voice" they held their auditions in Toorak at Jacksons Hotel. And at the end of 2021, I assisted at The Aviary Studio to record 7 demos and a Christmas song for a band called Sweet Talk one of the lead artists is one of the lecturers at SAE Institute; David Turner. He recruited me to help record his band. Early into 2022, they decided to bring these demos to life and create an EP, They got me to come in again and assist in recording the songs. for the third song the lead engineer couldn't make it so I took the role of lead engineer for that day. I also ran the filming for the songs to create music videos for the EP, including recruitment, directing and camera operator. Besides my studio work, I've also done some freelance work with a band to mix some music and I've created an EP as a part of my major project for my bachelor's degree, including recording, mixing, editing and songwriting assisting.
