This company was product based and mainly we had certain system that we we to develop and maintain.In the process below were main activities was tasked to do.Designing weighing system integration procedures and implementation.This was to enable the system to easily integrate with other customer tools such as hr system, finance system, payroll systems and and other hardware system available for integration. This involved developing a weighing application that was web based, also developed various soap web service that we to be used in integration to any third party system.Implemented a standard serial connection module that was configurable in such a way that we would connect to any hardware serial ports for various weighing scale modules, tune the configuration so as to enable extraction of the weigh from the serial string sent from the weighing scale.Designed and implemented unmanned weighing device for use in weigh bridge. This module was meant to automatically capture loaded and tare weighed of trucks and automatically send this details to the servers. It was integrated with camera so as to associate each transaction to a specific image and number plated.This module was suitable and targets dusty areas like cement industries where the weighing bridge are in human unfriendly areas. The module was implemented on Atmel micro controller (Atmege-1284p-pu) and used c++ as the main language.Its backed module was based MS SQL SEVER 2012 and Soap web service and asp.net application that was used to manage the data.weighbridge design installation and maintenance.Design and developed an android weighing application . This application was to integrated to the company's weighing application web services where it would retrieve master data and also post all transactions and connect to thermal printer for printing and also connected to Bluetooth weighing scale to extract weigh.
