I handled certification of our software programs and online training courses, plus training of Axiom staff members. Additionally, l as helped resolve issues where company policy is incorrectly applied or not fully in use, for whatever reason.

In this position, I handled Product Manager functions for one of Axiom's programs and assisted the Executive Product Manager to speed up completion of various software programming projects. These activities included research, testing, writing documentation plus project planning and coordination.

In this position, I was assigned special projects in Axiom's Technical Division and Quality Assurance Division. These projects included a wide range of activities from research, testing, certification, writing documentation and writing training materials. During this time, I also helped prepare a major software product for release, which ultimately resulted in the creation of Axiom's sister company, LinkTek (http://www.LinkTek.com).

U.S. Navy Radioman (radio & satellite communicator) handled numerous communication systems (radio, various frequency bands plus satellite systems) and computers related to these systems plus handled and routed message traffic of varying priority & classification. I got my basic electronics and computer training on the job which set me up for my eventual career at Axiom (computer-aided-design software company). My U.S. Navy training gave me the base knowledge from which I was then able to teach myself a couple of computer programming languages and many computer-related areas and subjects. Additionally, I got to see a bit of the world -- Philippines, Kenya, Hawaii & Victoria, British Columbia, Canada (cleanest city I've ever seen -- I highly recommend you visit Victoria!). All of these places have a special place in my life and experience overall. Plus, the people of these areas convinced me that the greatest majority of people are decent people, with goals they are trying to achieve for themselves, to give their children a better life and to generally live in peace with others no matter what country they might be from.
