Responsibilities and Projects Include:● Setting up and implementation of an alert system for supervisors for notification purposes if machine settings were changed out of manufacturing spec● Use of 5S principals on operator tools by using check out system for more accountability● Design of clamping system for web on machine for ease of operator splices● Setup of Offline Proofing System● Creation of various One-Point-Lessons● Mahlo Data Processing in VBA for operator review station and engineering data analysis● Creation of manufacturing spec for slitting machines

● Performing facility studies, implementation of 5S, management of stored parts and equipment● Working on implementing an inventory management system for more efficient workflow● Using knowledge of lean manufacturing systems and facility layout and organization to increase productivity

• Assisted with daily operations to strive for optimal efficiency, working with operators and maintenance• Conducted several studies regarding waste and efficiency on production lines• Participated in a supply chain project, working toward optimal material flow process management

• Worked with Chapter Chairs across the state to improve recruitment and plan events• Served on a national level committee for voting and assisted on delegate awards• Participated in political events across the state, spreading the word of College Republicans and made meaningful connections and networks for all College Republicans across Iowa.
