My primary experience is in the field of Addiction and Mental Health Treatment. My professional experience began in what are known as residential social model programs and has taken me to settings such as Stanford Hospital where I was a primary counselor in the 80's to ever increasing positions of responsibility at settings such as CPC Belmont Hills hospital where I was a part of their Dual Diagnosis Team, teaching at one of our local (Hayward State) universities in the provision of addiction treatment. From those settings, and as my responsibilites increased I gathered union negotiation, and significant budget management experience. I wanted to branch out and it was at this time that I created my present business Weyland Consultation Services Inc., which at one point was the the largest contract provider in Northern California of outpatient Federal Probation, Federal Pretrial, and Bureau of Prisons services. In these contracts we were asked to provide outpatient psychiatric services, substance abuse treatment, acupuncture sessions, various forms of toxicology screenings testing as many as four to five hundred clients per month.Specialties: Exceptional speaking capacity: Topics include motivational seminars on self development in both business and personal areas of ones life. Treatment of various addiction presentations and how to think out of the box in this area of service thereby increasing the potential for client engagement. Working with companies to help them in developing strategies for working cohesively and the articulation of team development skills. Intervention services in particular with upper management.
