- As Committee Officer, I handle EU related matters for the Swedish Parliament and the Committee on Transportation and Communication.- Tasks include monitoring, analysing, and reporting on EU policies and proposals (primarily from DG MOVE and DG CNCT). Specifically, I draft background documents for the Committee's subsidiarity control of EU law, parliamentary reports for plenary adoption, and prepare negotiations with governmental representatives ahead of EU Council meetings (TTE configuration).- Besides internal cooperation within the parliament administration, I maintain contact with colleagues from other national EU parliaments, EU officials, as well as governmental bodies - in particular in view of the Swedish Presidency of the EU council (first half 2023).

- Assisted the EU delegation to the UN in Vienna, primarily towards UNIDO (global development), UNOOSA (space affairs) and UNCITRAL (trade). Assisted colleagues per request at the IAEA (nuclear affairs), UNODC (office for drugs and crime) and the OSCE (security policy). - Tasks included drafting EU statements for delivery at UN conferences, setting up EU coordination meetings with member States, and reporting back from multilateral conferences and UN sessions.- In view of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, I coordinated stances with foreign ministries of both EU MS and third countries, as well as other relevant EU institutions. This also included general strategising within the delegation and event planning, which expanded my professional network and deepened my understanding of diplomacy in practice.

- At the Private Office, I assisted Presidents Rik Daems (Belgium, 2019-2021) and Tiny Kox (Netherlands, 2022-2024) in their work for the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly. - Tasks included preparing speeches, talking-points and background materials for the president's meetings and outgoing missions (to several EU member States, Kazakhstan, the UK and the US (Washington D.C. and the UN in New York).- Further assisted in preparation for the parliamentary sessions in Strasbourg, including coordinating plenary events and welcoming invited speakers (various European Commissioners and Heads of State).- Improved my skills in political communication and analysis, as well as expanded my personal and professional European network while keeping in touch with national parliamentary delegations.
