Device Platform Research is a new growing organization within Ericsson Research with three subunits doing device-related research. The charter is to create novel concepts and technologies, do proof-of-concept prototyping, serve as a pool of expertise within the Ericsson group, and create strategically important intellectual property. The technical focus of the unit is architecture, software, and digital baseband as well as mixed-signal content of connected devices, and projects will cover modem functionality, application and system software, sensors and multimedia, and machine intelligence. The unit is a key part of the cross-disciplinary Device Research Program including competences from other line units such as RF, radio signaling and security technology forming a program comprising key technologies present in a state of the art connected device.

Part time (20%) position as Adjunct Professor of Computer Architecture at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. I am involved in research programs and research direction in the areas of Parallel Computer Architecture and Low-Power Computer Architecture.
