This work involved managing and analyzing data using SAS/SQL/Excel/VBA and a variety of statistical techniques, writing analytical reports and presenting the findings at international meetings. I also provided statistical advice to improve the measurement, quality and transparency of OECD data, and supported political negotiations to improve the OECD’s statistical systems of tracking international financial flows. In addition, I also managed an SQL database and recruited, trained and supervised statisticians to expand quantitative capacities within the team.

Performed statistical analysis on the composition and allocation of international financial flows to developing countries, and drafted statistical and methodological sections of several OECD reports. As part of this work I also managed data collection and administered an SQL database as well as created automated procedures and programmes to streamline production of statistical products.

Performed quantitative analysis of spending patterns of credit card customers within a SAS environment (incl. macros and SAS analytics, e.g. decision trees) for improved campaign results. This work included customer segmentation and performance monitoring of consumer campaigns, development of SAS-generated reports and database development and maintenance. I also regularly trained colleagues on the importance of a data-driven business model and made presentations on campaign results and strategy changes to the entire company.
