Swedfund’s mission is to combat poverty by investing in and develop sustainable businesses in the world’s most challenging markets. Investments are made through equity, mezzanine financing, debt and funds across four sectors including energy and climate, financial inclusion, sustainable enterprises and food systems.The investments facilitate the creation of jobs with decent working conditions, increases gender equality, and improve access to essential products and services in the world’s most vulnerable countries. I am part of the deal team throughout the investment process and prepare various analyses including financial and commercial due diligence assessing potential investment opportunities. Portfolio work is done regularly and involves quarterly valuations and risk assessments.

• Analysis of a debt portfolio containing Green Bonds, floating rate senior unsecured Bonds, AT 1 and 2 Bonds and Hybrids. The effort summarized the most important risk characteristics from reading Prospectus and Terms and Conditions in terms of for instance maintenance and incurrence covenants, termination events and restricted payments.• Monitor an equity portfolio conducting financial modelling and valuation using multiples and DCF• Participating in earning calls and summarizing quarterly reports

• Account openings, distributions of estate, loans and compliance

• Head organizer for Östgöta Nations largest annual event with approximately 500 guests

• Board member of the tenant’s association acting as a spokesman for the tenants and negotiating rents.

• Producing equity reports which included financial modelling with various valuation methods such as DCF and multiples.

• Climbing instructor for groups of ~30 and ultimately responsible for safety precautions during belay climbing.

• Handling incoming prototype material, assisting project leaders with time-plans, documentation, assembly work and setting up crash tests for various prototypes.
