The Hans Werthén Foundation - Received a scholarship to be able pursue parts of the PhD studies at the University of British Columbia in Canada for six months in 2004. 13 candidates were selected out of several hundreds to receive money for an academic visit abroad. Research towards the Doctorate Degree. Teaching duties including classroom exercises and lab-supervision was included in the work assignments. I initiated and supervised two Master´s Theses. In 2004 I was invited as a guest researcher to the University of British Columbia in Canada for six months.
