The Swedish Aviation Industry Group SAIG is a trade and employers' association whose members are airlines and other companies associated with the aviation industry.The vision of the association is to create a competitive environment for its members and contribute to sustainable development. SAIG is associated with the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise. SAIG is divided into two business areas, i.e., employer and trade issues. The number of member companies is aproximately, 100, with over 10,000 employees. About 15 associeted companies are also tied to SFB.I'm responsible for all aeropolitical matters within SAIG and am very proud to represent the interests of the Swedish Aviation Industry in open and closed discussions to ensure the right conditions for a flourishing industry also in the future.My job is to comment on parliamentary inquiries and influence policy makers and the debate about the conditions of the aviation industry. Furthermore, through umbrella organisation The Swedish Confederation of Transport Enterprises we support improved conditions for the entire transportation industry and as a member of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise we contribute to the top-level political issues that concern the business climate and free enterprise as such.

Fly Green Fund is a non-profit organisation offering air travellers, companies and public organisations to reduce their flight carbon footprint by replacing fossil jet fuel with sustainable aviation fuels (SAF)

Föreningen Fossilfritt flyg 2045 ekonomisk förening (FFT2045 ek) ska arbeta med att främja samverkan, kunskapsutbyte, nätverksbyggande, informationsspridning och samarbete mellan medlemmarna i frågor som rör fossilfritt flyg.Föreningen ska initiera och driva projekt med målet att bidra till och nå ett fossilfritt flyg. Föreningen ska möjliggöra effektiv kunskapsspridning mellan medlemmarna men även mellan andra aktörer, branscher och regioner och utgöra en bas för internationell samverkan. Detta öka potentialen för medlemmarnas export av sålväl kunskap som teknik för ett fossilfritt flyg samt bidrar till medlemmarnas långsiktiga utveckling.Föreningen ska vara en tydlig expertorganisation i frågor kopplade till flugets hållbarhetsarbete.

Within the International Cooperation Department, in the Safety Management Directorate, I work in the Agreements & External Representation Section. The section consist of a team of international experts located in Köln, Washington, Montreal and Beijing.International co-operation is one of the missions of the Strategy & Safety Management Directorate. It covers the development of international standards that may become European rules, the conclusion of international agreements or arrangements that become binding on the Community or the Agency, as well as the provision of high quality technical training to all EASA Staff, to NAAs staff and to the Agency’s stakeholders as applicable.The Agreements & External Representation Section is responsible for the management of institutional relations with International Partner States and organisations.Here are some of our activities:- Defining the EASA policy with bilateral and multilateral International Partners, under direct guidance from the Executive Director (ED) and in close coordination with the European Commission- Working Arrangements, Memoranda of Understanding and Memoranda of Cooperation concluded by EASA with International bilateral and multilateral Partners- Assisting the European Commission in the negotiation of Aviation Agreements, Arrangements, Memoranda of Understanding and Memoranda of Cooperation with a safety dimension, including implementation of such Agreements- Representing EASA in joint committees established by Aviation Agreements signed by the EU such as the European Common Aviation Area and Euromed agreements- Ensuring overall coordination of EASA relations with ICAO as well as coordinating ICAO State letters- Coordinating EASA support for the EASA External Representatives- Coordinating visits of 3rd Country Authorities and international organisations and, in some cases, foreign industry representatives

Deputizing for EASA's Chief Legal Adviser my work covers in principle all areas of law incumbent on an organisation like EASA and I have clear management responsibilities for certain administrative areas

With the help of a dream team of skilled lawyers I make sure the organisation has access to legal advice in all areas other than strictly technical law; we advice on a wide range of legal issues that EASA needs to run the business; we advice on public and private law (eg. international law, EU-law, administrative law, internal law/procedures, civil law, liability (civil & criminal, tax law, immunities) and operate a few core procedures such as public access to documents, personal data protection and whistleblowers.

From day 1 at EASA I was invited by the ADM Director to manage the legal department in a then fairly small EASA. Together with my legal team and management colleagues the legal department started to take form the way I wanted it. Building from scratch is a challenge but also very rewarding since you can really see the effects of your work. I believe that when the Chief Legal Adviser finally arrived he was not disappointed with what he took over: a fully operational legal department, with ambitious and motivated staff using relevant processes and producing high quality legal advise for one of the greatest of European Agencies.

Tactical and operational managerial responsibilities for the legal function within the authority, managing the team of legal staff, budget, full responsibilities for the appeals and complaints processes; direct reporting line to the Director General; as the authority adopted a completely new organisation 1st June 200, I was selected to work within the project and headed modernisation of the regulatory process and setting up a new regulatory section

In this position I was in charge representing the Ground Handling Company for the safe and efficient turnround of arriving aircraft. The duties include: - preparing the flight- making the loading instruction - making loadsheet - cockpit crew briefing - co-ordination with different services (cleaning, catering, fuelling, paxservice,...)
