Me too.I am an experienced aviation professional who has worked for two civil aviation administrations (national and European) advising on a wide range of legal issues as well as policy issues in the field of civil aviation administration, and in particular aviation safety. Currently I lead the aeropolitical work within the Swedish Aviation Industry Group which represents the big part of swedish aviation industry.I have acquired deep knowledge in the workings (legal and policy) of an EU agency and good insight in the dealings of the European Union Institutions and other Bodies, decision making process, etc. In my present position as Director for SAIG I am gaining deep knowledge and experience in the business side of the aviation sector and am able to quickly expand my network in the Swedish and European aeropolitical world.I’m always curious and known for always pushing the envelope a bit further when it comes to making the future come sooner. It covers the development of international standards that may become European rules, the conclusion of international agreements or arrangements that become binding on the Community or the Agency, as well as the provision of high quality technical training to all EASA Staff, to NAAs staff and to the Agency’s stakeholders as applicable.The Agreements & External Representation Section is responsible for the management of institutional relations with International Partner States and organisations.Here are some of our activities:- Defining the EASA policy with bilateral and multilateral International Partners, under direct guidance from the Executive Director (ED) and in close coordination with the European Commission- Working Arrangements, Memoranda of Understanding and Memoranda of Cooperation concluded by EASA with International bilateral and multilateral Partners- Assisting the European Commission in the negotiation of Aviation Agreements, Arrangements, Memoranda of Understanding and Memoranda of Cooperation with a safety dimension, including implementation of such Agreements- Representing EASA in joint committees established by Aviation Agreements signed by the EU such as the European Common Aviation Area and Euromed agreements- Ensuring overall coordination of EASA relations with ICAO as well as coordinating ICAO State letters- Coordinating EASA support for the EASA External Representatives- Coordinating visits of 3rd Country Authorities and international organisations and, in some cases, foreign industry representatives -
