This role focused on providing support and coaching to projects applying a newly released Requirements Definition procedure & tool, plus other activities relating to continuous improvement of the procedure. The new procedure requires vast changes in the way the organization are working with requirements and how they interacting with each other. A lot of focus was on making them understand the added value of applying the procedure. The tasks included coaching end users, providing training and working within the continuous improvement team to identify and drive actions to secure the successful establishment of the new way of working.

An assignment to introduce a geriatric clinic at Blekingesjukhuset (hospital in Blekinge) within the same number of beds at the hospital. What that really meant was that the clinic should be introduced within the current budget and that resulted in a decrease of beds at the other clinics at the hospital. The project includes to set up project goals, make everybody work towards the same goals, drive the project in a structured and plainness way using milestones and tollgates, set up the organization of the Geriatric clinic, recruitment, make sure the clinics that must decrease the number of beds worked efficient with fewer beds, economics part, set up the journal system, set up the economics system, cooperation agreements between clinics, changes of premises etc.A assignment to decrease the costs at Blekingesjukhuset. The economical situation at many hospitals in the country was very strain. To achieve a better economical balance the decision was to start reducing the number of beds. Although, it’s the reduction of resources that actually reduce the costs. With fewer beds and resources the hospital had to start to work in a different way because the patients are still coming to the hospital. The project included to reduce the number of beds, introduce a more efficient way of working with standardized methods, create role descriptions, change the emergency flow including on-call duty, higher co-operation between clinics, more flexible use of the beds, risk analyzes etc
