As IT Operations manager I'm responsible for Klarnas entire IT environment. The environment is a mix of inhouse systems, standard systems and cloud services. A major part of this is operated inhouse. Measured on SLA of the services, speed of change and costs. In this role i have to make well balanced decisions, balancing the need to go forward and the stability of our services. I truyly belive that to make this work you need to empower your department to drive the devlopment. To do this we are moving fast into DevOps land.Task includes but are not limited to:- lead IT Ops mgmgt team and develop my managers- compliance controls, yearly revisions and provide auditors with accurate information- decision maker when it comes to purchasing hardware, software and services- create and improve routines and processes for IT Ops- budget and staffing - build an efficient and scalable infrastructure - in/outsourcing of applications and services

Manager for the Liveops team, responsible for application support. Assigned with the task of defining and implementing a new organisation for Klarna IT Operations as a whole. This work continued when i was appointed Head of IT Operations.

IT Operations manager for a complex and demanding business, online trading. Low latency and good throughput of the systems where vital. All the common tasks of a manager such as hire/fire, budget and coaching/development of managers.

Worked in close cooperation with development teams to ensure good operational performance on solutions being built. Team lead for 7 dba:s and also partaking in day to day work as an dba.
