IT projects, affinity schemes, general insurance arrangements, cooperation structures etc. Since Trygg-Hansa is part of the Codan Group (domiciled in Denmark) and the ultimate owner is RSA Insurance Group PLC (domiciled in UK), many projects and agreements include cross boarder dimensions and considerations.

In-house legal counsel, advising the bank with respect of issues concerning internal legal and risk management, private banking, asset management, investment funds and domestic and cross border corporate finance and Equity Capital Market transactions. HQ Bank merged with Carnegie Investment Bank in October 2010.

Specialized in private and public M&A and my area of work included various matters/projects relating to project management, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial law. At Hannes Snellman my main focus area was private M&A, where I i.a. was the project manager responsible for managing our team of lawyers, coordinating due diligence and, together with the partner in charge, drafting and negotiating contracts etc.

I was a trainee during January - September 2003 and thereafter on leave of absence until January 2005 to serve as a law clerk at Gothenburg District Court (see below). Between 2005-2009 I practiced in the Corporate and M&A Group, Competition and Procurement Group and in the Arbitration & Litigation Group focusing on corporate law including various matters/projects relating to project management, dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial law. During the last two years at Setterwalls my main focus area became M&A where I often was the project manager responsible for managing our team of lawyers, coordinating due diligence and, together with the partner in charge, drafting and negotiating contracts etc

The work as law clerk included keeping the minutes at hearings, writing judgements and serving as a judge in smaller criminal and civil law cases
