Drove Content Strategy across multiple market segments, including K-12, post-secondary, and professional certification. In partnership with Exec Leadership, guided the work of 7 content teams creating thousands of assets quarterly. Also served as Scrum Master for 5 teams and created and launched a staff development program.

Benetech is a tech focused non-profit organization, focused on Education primarily. I was the federal project director for their U.S. Dept of Education funded program known as Bookshare®. Bookshare is a web-based digital library serving a worldwide customer base of more than one million persons with print disabilities. I successfully managed over $100 million in federal funds, exceeding our targets and securing new grant awards. During my tenure, we grew our customer base and content library from approx. 50,000 of each to over 1 million customers and 1 million books in our library. The usage of the service also expanded dramatically, from a few hundred thousand downloads to over 10 million. I managed our customer service, content, training and outreach, and community teams.

We provided a broad array of career services to ~20,000 jobseekers annually throughout San Mateo County. We partnered with multiple colleges, private employers, non profits and government to enhance our services. I managed a 30+ member Workforce Board, a staff of about 20, and directed operations for our 4 career centers. I also secured several million dollars in grant funding from state and federal governments as well as foundations. We received multiple national awards from our innovative training programs.
