I had the privilege to server as Monitoring and Evaluation officer on USAID/STEER project where my capacity in monitoring and evaluation of OVC multifaceted service areas such as education, health, protection, shelter and care, psychosocial, nutrition and home economic strengthening which I was able to achieve the following;• Providing OVC with 2,300 birth certificates leveraged from National Population Commission.• Enhancing early grade learning by enrolling 1,550 OVC to school• Providing linkages for health services through referrals for 8,000 beneficiaries.• Training of 36 Community Case Management Workers (CCMW) to facilitate Community Infant and Young Child Feeding (CIYCF) support groups.• Establishment of community structures like Community Quality Improvement team (QIT), Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) and Community Child Protection Committee (CCPC)As a Program Officer of USAID/Creative Associate International’s Northern Education Initiative Plus (NEI+) project in Women Empowerment Initiative (WEIN) Bauchi, I measure my productive capacity from my accomplishment of training 40 mentor facilitators across Bauchi state to support monitoring activities of non-formal learning centers within the state. I also serve as a master trainer of the Initiative (NEI+) in supporting Site Improvement Monitoring (SIM) assessment.
