I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 16 years of managerial experience in the non-profit sector. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a Master's in Business Administration from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, CUNY. I have over 5 years experience in IT and I have co-founded and sold two companies in the past, including a linen supply company in Long Island City that is still successfully in operations to present day. I have held positions including Board of Visitors member serving the Long Island DDSO branch of New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and Chief Financial Officer. I am highly motivated and a self-starter. As Acting Executive Director, I was responsible for the day-to-day operations at Gateway Counseling Center, Inc. and reporting to Gateway Counseling Center's Board of Directors during a transition period. As CEO, I plan to continue preparations for a managed care environment and expand services and increase opportunities and supports for people with special needs.
