We offer independent courses in STEM subjects, especially Mathematics (problem solving/olympiad maths and curriculum), Programming, Robotics and Early Intellectual Development while also supporting school studies. In 2023 and 2022 all our school leavers achieved an A* in Maths and Further Maths ‘A’ level, gaining places at Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, Edinburgh and NYU. Our methodology is based on a systematic approach to teaching mathematics and other STEM subjects. This promotes understanding over memorisation and builds a firm foundation in the subject. At the same time we put the fun and games back into learning with in-class competitions and group problem solving at olympiad level. Our aim is to help children understand and love mathematics and coding, be inventive, open-minded and strive to think outside the box. To achieve this we provide an engaging and enriching environment in which children can develop their abilities far beyond the ordinary. The school teaches over 1,200 pupils a year through term time classes and holiday camps, both face to face and online, inspiring pupils to excel in STEM subjects, especially maths (problem solving and curriculum), programming, robotics, electronics and chess. LondonSMP has its own proprietary curriculum in all subjects and has designed, built and operates its own combined LMS/SIS/CRM system to track and manage pupil progress.Teaching from the London School of Mathematics and Programming is designed to complement and enhance your child’s school education and prepare them for an exciting future.
