The California Army State Guard is an organizational department within the California Military Department. It's mission is to provide a trained and organized military force under the exclusive control of the Governor. The CASG provides trained human resources for State emergencies under the direction of the Adjutant General of California National Guard. Began as a Receiving Inspector B in Process Instruments Division. Promoted after one year to Electronic Reliability Technician in Corporate Assurance - Reliability Laboratory. Promoted after one year to Quality Control Supervisor in Display Systems Division - Liquid Crystal Display Quality Control Department. Left the company to become a Quality Control Manager.

I directed a small, part-time youth ministry program while I was attending Bible College. The purpose of the ministry was to meet the needs of youth attending the church. The ministry grew quickly from 4 to 12 with weekly Bible Studies, youth Sunday School, retreats, and personal discipleship. There was a small amount of counseling that I provided for those struggling with adolescent issues.

I set up, operated, and maintained various drill press machines, including NC multi-head drill systems and various single spindle systems. I occasionally operated debur equipment and material handling machines (forklift, pallet jack, hand truck).
