Set up new Legal departments in Denmark and Sweden and expand and increase seniority of the departments in UK, Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Finland. Integrate Contract- and Claimmanagement as well as Insurance into Legal. Insource all legal standard work and create law firm panels and standard retainers for external support. Grow team from 51 to 150 people over a period of three years with full support of internal business partners.Act as General Counsel reporting to the CEO of the Country Cluster North West Europe and as Secretary of the Executive Management Board of the same. Develop a governance model for the Cluster and a meeting structure and standard agenda for its EMB.Manage all Legal and Compliance affairs of a business volume of 12 billion Euro generated by 30000 colleagues.

The Hague Area, Netherlands

Lead the acquisition, financing and merger of three international Groups (Bayer Diagnostics, DPC and Dade Behring) by two Dutch Holding companies. Act as shareholder of these acquisitions. Oversee the integration on country level of these acquisitions. First into one Siemens Diagnostics organization and second into the Siemens country organizations.Create a Holding organization for 6 billion Euro worth of assets.

The Hague

Bring 50 Country organizations under one legal holding and act as their shareholder. Create a Dutch organization of financial, legal and fiscal experts capable of holding and investing 6 billion Euro worth of assets. Act as project manager for multinational mergers and acquisitions. Synchronize annual shareholder meetings and create model agenda's, dividend policies and other standards for all subsidiaries.

Set up a Legal Department. Insource standard support previously done by external law firms. Create new activities to respond to changing external legal and business landscape, e.g. as a result of the advent of European public procurement rules. Grow the team from a small legal support unit of 2 to a full service team of 17 covering the complete legal supply chain of Governance, Compliance, Advise, Contract Management, Claim management and InsuranceAct as Secretary for the Managing Board and for the Supervisory Board of Siemens Nederland

Advise and litigate in matters of construction, insurance, company law, arbitration, fiscal fraud and supreme court appeals (cassation).
