Instrumental in the growth of the business from a single retail store in 2004 to a six store chain by 2007. This included the franchising of 3 locations, one being in New Zealand. The development of the company website which now boosts over 30,000 registered users and over 100,000 page views per month. Helped the company raise $4.5 million in external capital from a private equity firm in Sydney. Initiated a private label program that allowed the company to manufacture overseas and import direct to retail products under its own brands. Developed export markets in Japan and Hong Kong for the company’s goods. Due to the GFC and lower consumer confidence helped the company re-access all retail operations and close underperforming stores.

Based around the changes in Corporate Governance policies for ASX listed companies for greater transparency and disclosure, IRM built an ASP based software application called Investor Relationship Management. The software was developed to be a fully integrated web based Investor Centre for publicly listed companies in Australia. This included a direct link to the ASX for lodgment of company announcements and other tools relating to investor communications. The company current has close to 100 clients operating on its application including top 100 companies like Brambles and Fortesque Metals.

Responsible for the Sales and Marketing of a new internet based community website and online rewards program. The company was one of the first to introduce an affiliate marketing program and commission splits. Introduced the concept of online database marketing and filtering in Australia. Conducted investor presentations and road shows that resulted in the company seeking $3.5M in seed capital. At its height the company had over 200,000 registered users and was later acquired by BTS (Business Thinking Systems) which was part owned by Larry Adler and HIH.
