Responsible for overseeing the implementation of the organization’s diversity strategic plan and organization-wide initiatives. Develop, implement, manage and evaluate all aspects of this strategy in order to drive organizational performance and improve the environment in which hospital leaders, physicians and staff work. Report to the Vice President of Human Resources. Provide ongoing regular reports to Senior Leadership Team. Partner with Workforce Development and Employment regarding diversity recruitment and retention activities and initiatives. Lead the 32-member Diversity & Inclusion Council and member of each of the 4 subcommittees in the following areas: Human Resources, Education, Communication and Service Expansion.Develop metrics and maintain statistics to monitor effectiveness of projects and notify Leadership to trends and and issues and make recommendations to action.Accomplishments: Trained more than 700 physicians annually through culturally competency education seminar; developed a "How to do Business" Guide publication for the minority business community; successfully prepared senior leadership and staff members for Magnet re-certification (diversity component)

Developed and maintained program budgets and overall agency budget for indigenous non-government organization (NGO), providing HIV/AIDS services to 151 rural villages with 61% poverty/20% HIV rateDeveloped policies and procedures for internal operations and asset managementAdvised board chair on good governance, conflict resolution, staff roles and responsibilities during organizational restructuringEstablished volunteer advisory committee to formalize community feedback and integrate feedback into program design, project budgets and staffing levelsRepresented and presented for agency at local, national conferences and events on subjects such: Best Practices, Managing multiple testing sites, Preparing Budgets and Volunteer ManagementCoordinated data collection for annual Lot Quality Assurance Survey (LQAS) for United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to measure organizational impact on HIV/AIDS Chaired diversity committee for Peace Corps VolunteersAccomplishments: Successfully managed and allocated more than 300,000 USD in grant funding; recruited, hired and trained 2 management staff, 4 junior staff and 1 support staff
